This map shows the number of interventions with rigorous evidence of effectiveness (i.e., evidence of whether the intervention had an effect) by race and ethnicity and by sex. Interventions are counted within this view when a study reported subgroup findings for a given population or when at least 80 percent of the full study sample belonged to one of the groups. Interventions that deliver multiple services are counted more than once.
This map counts interventions that:
- Offer the service shown (potentially together with other services)
- Have high- or moderate-rated evidence (regardless of whether this evidence is favorable, unfavorable, or inconclusive) of their effect on outcomes for people belonging to a given demographic group
