The Roca PFS Pilot collected data between June 2014 - June 2016, with participants contibuitng between 6 months and 2.25 years of data.
Roca, a non-profit organization, implemented the Roca PFS Pilot.
The Roca Pay for Success Pilot Program (Roca PFS Pilot) supported youth and young adult men ages 17-24 who were on adult probation and aging out of foster care. The Roca PFS pilot intervention was an adaptation of existing Roca programs to support disadvantaged youth with a history of involvement in the criminal justice system. The Roca program involves 2 years of intensive services and two years of follow-up services. The program works to support behavior change by connecting participants with engaged youth workers, individualized employment services, transitional employment, job placement, and post-employment follow up.
The control group was not referred to Roca for services.

The Roca PFS Pilot was implemented in Massachusetts in sites in and near Boston, Chelsea, and Springfield.
